We are thrilled to be welcoming Jess Kidd again to Ripon to tell us about the second outing for Nun turned sleuth, Nora Breen in Murder at The Spirit Lounge, a follow up to her bestselling Murder at Gulls Nest.

Chris Brookmyre is coming to Valentino’s Restaurant in Ripon to talk to us about his journalist hero Jack Parlablane and his latest crime novel, Quite Ugly One Evening. Chris’s books are brilliantly conceived, punchy and very funny and we’re delighted to add him to our Coffee and Crime series at Valentino’s. Afterwards he’ll be signing books and chatting in the bookshop (next door).
